I haven't used it but I like the fact that it's paid because it keeps spammers and scammers away. The future of apps and the internet is paying a small subscription fee to even use them. I hate bots and spammers.

I am using it to find some people around, specially during traveling, in holidays etc. and not around the place I am living. I think in the US is a greater tool than in Europe. So I think it depends where you are living and the mentality of the people to the place you’re living. It depends what you are searching. For me was difficult to find someone and have a contact. Of course scammers can be also there, but they will have to pay the costs. Good app for sure, cause they include many stuff and not only people search. I am and i will stay forever a Bitcoiner, so I paid the lifetime option with cheap sats at the early days of the app, so mostly I forget the payment issue.

Great for finding meet-ups and local plebs where you live or when travelling

I have! Love the idea behind it too. I’m just out in the middle of nowhere geographically. But the app might surprise me, with people closer than I think they are. I’ll do a month subscription. Thanks for the response.

Thank you for the detailed response. My only hesitation is if it’d be worth it because I live quite remotely. But I won’t know if I don’t try, so I’ll do the monthly subscription to check it out.

Yes....i think is the best way. Try it for a couple of months and then you can decide if you want to keep it.

I use it. Was the easiest way to onboard into my local Bitcoin community, which led to a large group chat, which is how I discovered Nostr… It’s a vein to tap into the community. I still pay for my subscription to serve as a human node for other Bitcoiners to who aren’t yet connected to their broader local community.
