This is correct, with Blockcore Notes (that I developed) it rarely asked for signing. For Nostria, I'm very much focused on limiting the amount of signing requests. Once you have provided the public key, that is enough. Only if you completely sign out, it should be requested again. Primal asks for my pubkey all the time, signs empty settings, etc. I created an GitHub issue for it, hopefully they can improve it.
