Tbh I think this is a nostr specific problem. I think on any other platform if a bot replied to you it would be recognised as spam, if it was done at the frequency of not replies here, it would be seen as a spam attack. On nostr it is being done willingly by the users themselves.

It's actually worse than this even . It's full of bots, and people who put them there and see no problem with it. That is pretty much a firewall against anyone interesting joining and staying.
