I am in Alberta, Canada of all places. Cost of living is about the same as I was paying in Scotland but you get benefits of being next to the Rockies and very nice summer weather. Also, cowboy province rich in Oil and Gas with a conservative/libertarian majority atm. Anyway, I been living in Calgary for over a month now and feeling much more optimistic about my future. In Scotland, I generally just felt stuck and was never going to leave the rat race.

Nice. I travelled through a bit of Canada a couple of years ago. Passed through Calgary and went to Whistler, Alberta and Vancouver. Great country. The cities are woke AF though so stay in the countryside.
I'm in London currently but from north east England originally. Don't fancy staying there for the winter tbh.
