Be The Change! My fiancé and I have both been in the agriculture and landscaping space for a long time. I was an intern at Spiral Ridge Permaculture. She started a Landscaping business at 24. I started a farm in Tennessee in 2019-22. We met 18 months ago in Washington State and started courting, we had very similar dreams for our visions of the future. We are building a homestead with gardens, meadows, nurseries , chickens, ducks, orchards, and food forests. We plan on selling teas, like nettle and chamomile, salves and essential oils. We may sell some produce, but we don’t want to be doing the three farmers market a week trap. We are blessed to have found Bitcoin, and Nostr. They align deeply with our values, they are similar to permaculture as there is no CEO, or ultimate leader, it is decentralized, grassroots. I want to thank Bill Mollison, Satoshi Nakamoto, and Fiatfaj and all those that contributed before and after, for making these tools 🛠️ That liberate the individual and family. #permaculture image

Selling teas and essentials doesn't solve anything. The hippies already tried that. Sell your expertise in Permaculture. Teach the everyday person how to provide for themselves. Now that's a killer product humanity needs.

I agree with that a lot. We were discussing that last night. The teas and oils are nice because of the shelf life vs produce. It is still exporting things off of our land. Another great thing about them is it’s hard to ship lettuce, but a dried tea not so much. The classes and workshops is what we were discussing last night, with a 5 year goal of teaching Permaculture Design Courses. We also plan on doing some AirBTC and selling bare root trees. Trying to not leave the homestead often. Thanks for the input.
