(1 minute block times) I don't know why so many but I would guess because the Federation must make sure that there are as many LBTC as BTC that's been pegged in. It shouldn't be an issue to wait a while because you only shouldn't have to peg in very often. I'm going to just keep most of my hot wallet funds on Liquid now since I can atomic swap with Boltz Exchange to Lighting from Liquid and also set up 2FA for a liquid multisig account.
