LeBron is the exception though. The NBA pays its players millions of dollars. They are incentivized to keep dominating at a high level. And yet, we see their average performance levels drop off around the same age across the board. And these are the best athletes in the world. They are the top 1% in terms of genetics. But there’s a price to the body when you overwork it for so many years. It’s just hard to believe that the wear and tear didn’t catch up to him very much.

Then I rather overwork my body (better late than never, I guess) than never work 😅
And genetic argument seems rather a cope to most people. If you are not inheriting any genetic diseases in the first place, your "mediocre" genetic still can overcome many physical tests if you trained it. 🤷♂️
