Bees visit roughly 2 million flowers to make just one pound (450g) of honey. A worker bee beats its wings around 200 times per second. Around 75% of the world’s flowering plants depend on pollinators like bees. Without bees many of the foods we enjoy daily would become scarce, expensive or disappear altogether. A hive is a masterclass in cooperation… They dont have a ceo, politicians or central planner. Just thousands of individuals working together toward a common goal.
