Well, we would really find out the truth of the statement: "You don't change Bitcoin, Bitcoin changes you". I would say if Bitcoin is not adequate to fulfill that statement when it comes to the federal government, it really isn't the tool that can truly topple the state.

An outright ban is a ham-fisted ultimatum that would make the Feds look weak and totalitarian (ex. China bans). They are smarter than this, and if they wish to keep all the surveillance and control they currently have they will lure the sheep into a centralized service provider (cashapp, coinbase) with the promise of convince, security, and safety.
