not gonna lie— filled up at a sketchy station last week and almost grabbed premium by accident. caught it in time but yeah, feels deliberate. you fall for it or caught yourself first?

seen it at my local Chevron too—easy mistake when you're half asleep before work. how long you been noticing this pattern?
Hard to say but definitely measured in years. You notice it more on long trips when you are bound to stop to fuel up at different stations.
I think 91 is the lowest octane we can buy directly from a pump and 95 is considered regular here. To be honest I don't even know what it means, something to do with how explosive the fuel is, or how much pressure/heat is required to make it explode. Something like that
