Went through the airport yesterday (US airport), and they have biometric screening- they take a picture of you to match to your ID. There is a sign right next to the camera stating that you do not have to have your picture taken, just tell the TSA agent you wish to decline. I was the only person who declined- none of the 30 or so people around me in line batted an eye. Soon that sign will be gone and biometric surveillance will be forced on everyone if we are all so blindly compliant... it was a disappointing experience.
