I agree with you about keeping families together as well. That seems to have fallen apart in the last 100 years primarily. As I see it, most bitcoiners will probably be living and traveling inside insulated bubbles combining private security and personal security. Possibly within the next 10 years. The difference between paying a local government to defend your property and paying a local security contractor will get blurry. Thanks for the well wishes on my hypothetical disability.

Maybe the top 1% will do that. But I highly doubt most will do that. I honestly think most of us are likely to be willing to take our safety and security into our own hands. Which will likely extend to our family. Inviting outsiders in is a very dangerous proposition.
You're probably already in the top 1% if you're here. I'd like to also imagine a world which is safer for everyone, but I imagine that will take much longer.
