Yes in the underlying sense of we are all pawns in the system that’s completely true, that said left/right cultural capture is very real in America (not sure if you’re American) and the effects of these delusions have real consequences. So it’s something to call out and be aware of.
Not random. Very, very common. Look at TikTok, news pundits, and countless others. This image of posts is the tip of a very large iceberg, and the ocean is crystal clear for you to see how big it is.
