Monday reminder: most of the world has no idea #nostr exists, and if we want others to see the beauty and power of this protocol we need to keep talking about it *outside* of nostr. Nostr devs are building incredible things that will naturally attract new users, but for non-devs, we have a role to play, too; we must be ambassadors. Talk about nostr on legacy social media apps, share cool apps being build on nostr, write about nostr, make videos, talk about it on podcasts, purple pill your IRL friends, and don’t forget to #zap the devs so they can keep building open source freedom tech. The world needs nostr, most folks just don’t realize it yet. image

Not sure about other clients but in Damus, you can share notes. If you still use other social media, consider posting exclusively on Nostr and sharing to those other platforms to increase exposure to #nostr
Nostr is really special; it reminds me alot of the competitive circle jerk league I joined last year, and just like with them I'm always willing to lend a hand
🎯 this is why i haven’t deleted my twitter account and i’m ramping up my youtube videos about nostr we need to meet people where they are and share the message of what we’ve discovered (still can’t wait until i can be pure nostr, fwiw 😋)
Walker do you have a list of cool nostr projects you could share? There's so much potential here. It's a very exciting time be involved and part of the community.
Thanks for the work you both do; I think of both of you as the two best examples of executing on what’s described here. And, like you said, it’s of upmost importance. 💜💜💜
Completely agree with you here Walker. When we first started the #[2] we got a lot of requests to develop a website to display the report to anyone, even people without a #Nostr account. We did this and keep it updated regularly. We are producing content daily, but don’t crosspost it outside of Nostr or our website. What do you think the best way to leverage this is? Should we be crossposting to legacy social media? Or focus on a podcast? Or just continue to produce quality Nostr content? Thanks, would love your thoughts!
We also all need to talk about our general interests, too, and not talk about bitcoin all day. Mainstream audiences talk about mainstream things. We all have favourite films, tv shows and albums.

My art can maybe help 🤙 #plebchain image
I think crossposting to legacy social media is a good thing in general, especially when it comes to new developments/apps on nostr. It’s good for people to see the incredible rate of development happening because it sparks a little fomo.
Ok we can do that. Don’t think the Nostr Report would translate well there given the number of Nostr native links, but we can start with our op Ed’s and meme/quote of the day. Any feedback is welcome, thanks man 🤙
We use it on https://Nostr.report to embed our daily report. We did this so people without Nostr accounts could still check it out. It’s by #[4] and works great. The code can be found on https://Nostr.band and isn’t too challenging to incorporate into your site. And there is a guide from #[5] too:
Parabéns, muitos dos meus amigos já usam, e melhor muitos deixaram outras redes sociais famosas para trás, wow
