What’s the scam though? They’re going to rug nostr identities when they have followings? I don’t follow what the payoff would be

It’s probably not a scam, but if anyone asks for, or stores, your nsec then you should presume it’s a scam.
There’s no good reason for it.
It defeats the whole point.
