Let me point your attention to something optimistic I saw in the last couple of days: - Thursday the exploit is discovered by Block who is a competitor of Coinkite - within hours #Bitcoin X explodes and the entire industry is rallying around the situation organizing triage for effected people, disregarding their own affiliations or personal pride, considering many recommended Coldcards before - meanwhile every single bitcoin company is spending a fortune on AI tokens to harden their code base - as of now the damage is brutal and the loss for many people is incomprehensible. It is still by orders of magnitude smaller than the centralized exchange failures in the past. All of that happened in a decentralized way and was organized by people who simply cared about #Bitcoin and bitcoiners. This might be the beginning of the AI wars. We are in the trenches and there is no way to avoid it. We do have a fighting chance if we keep it together. After this weekend I am more convinced than ever that we will prevail.
