Only in Israel, when the (very correct) decision is made to close this station, the officers in charge can declare a revolt!

We received the Minister of Defense's announcement as a complete surprise without being given the opportunity to refer to the report submitted by the committee appointed by the minister.
This is after many deficiencies were found in the committee's activities, including conflicts of interest, a trending choice in advance of its members and many manipulations in the presentation of the information presented in the application. A heavy shadow is behind the work of the committee that was launched from the beginning under the concept that what was will not be.
The choice to close the station after two years of activity on an unimaginable scale for the servants is puzzling and proves that this is not a matter-of-fact process that sees the servants as a priority.
We see this as a real, unfortunate and dramatic damage to the people's army, Israeli society and the freedom of the press in a democratic country.
In the name of the responsibility placed on my shoulders, I intend to fight this serious decision in every way. I am proud of the making of the station, all the more so in the last two years during an ongoing war and am convinced that the station will continue to exist for many years to come. The soldiers' house cannot be closed.
