I've also landed on Antennapod, though sometimes it doesn't play for me. Fountain was too glitchy and felt gimmicky. I was thinking of redownloading it to try again, but will not obv if this information is accurate.

I've never once had an issue with AP. This is across 3 phones and years.
I have had issues with some podcasts that reformat their RSS feed for whatever reason, but, that's not AP's fault.
Yeah, I'm not super techie, so idk where the problem originates. When streaming it will tell me it can't play this file right now, please try deleting and redownloading. 🤷♀️
