Before you start running your own node, you can still plug in custodial wallets to Alby Extension, like nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw. They also do the right job! nostr:note1cx0r87uphl0c9qhq3qskpefyw9484qy7xrds58r5r8m7xsc06vds2qtmdt

Am I correct that I can both send and receive zaps from my browser on my desktop PC and even overnight when my PC is offline? I used to use the Primal wallet, but it wouldn't allow me to zap others from my desktop now I have my own channel setup on Alby hub, and that seems to work better, BUT I have it on my local desktop because I don't want to pay the monthly hosting fee right now so I'm afraid it doesn't work when my PC is offline. Still looking for a solution for all this. Desktop AND mobile, 24/7 send AND receive.

You seem to need a custodial and free solution that uses NWC and thus can be used with Alby Extension and within clients.
