it's good to at least forgive some people along the way.
i remember seeing the theranos documentary and thinking, how horrible for 1 person to swindle all those VIPs with so much money.
i'm smarter now about how this stuff works. Get a smart young charismatic person, charge them with your mission, finance them.

The "Patsy Theory" is an excellent example of correctly identifying systemic rot, but misnaming the mechanism.
