Client feature request:
Customizable home feeds with importable and exportable algorithms in a simple scripting language.
This would allow for ‘top’ feeds based on any combo of time and types of engagements, muting certain words or phrases, elevating others, and who knows what else. All open and hackable.
Is this a thing anywhere yet? Is this something that could/should be drafted as a NIP?

Some of this is constrained by the filtering to relays which for now is underutilized, but if too much filtering can overwhelm relays so might be best to pull back one set of data and filter some on the client for tabbed views of topics.
Simple customizable filters, all done client side. Shouldn’t be tough, I don’t think?
Yes. I wish I could long press on the New Threads/Conversations row to
- Add (specify phrase)
- Delete
And have that new view filter all threads for just those including a match for that phrase.
Would be great for hash tags, or just keywords like a topic, location, event name
