π We created @internet privacy foundation so that we'd have a stable long-term home for the Marmot protocol, @White Noise , and other projects in the privacy space that we're working on.
@Max, @niftynei() πΊπΈπΈπ§‘, and @Liz are also on the board.
We'll be adding this (and more) to the website in the coming weeks but happy to answer questions in the meantime.
Would love to see a PAC formed for privacy, it's one of the few political issues we don't have a good bipartisan PAC for.
There is no pac, since it would be ironic to centralize privacy advocates:
Signal, proton mail, BRIAR, Libre Office, Linux and many distros of it and now the Marmot and Nostr protocol and what grows on them are important pilars.
But longterm, they are more resilient when fragmented. Yes might less powerful. But might just harder to get rid of those too.
