No, it was super easy. If you were already logged into the custodial wallet, then in the app settings there’s an option to switch to self-custody mode. Otherwise it just starts you in self-custody mode. You choose to create new wallet or restore existing one. The new wallet took all of a few seconds to load, and then you can write down your backup phrase and you’re good to go.

After asking, I saw your response to someone else that the self custody wallet doesn’t allow for the custom address. I’m still running an old version of the custodial WOS. I’m assuming this will be an updated version from the version I have now. I can’t even find the version number in my app.
