First time I'm working with wood. Need a more coarse sanding paper for the next round to get rid of the darkish spots here and there.
Sanded and oiled my axe handle and cleaned the head thoroughly today. Tomorrow I'll rinse and repeat. Love the new color and soft feeling already.
My leather sheet protecting the upper handle was beewaxed as well.
