How is this different than a brain looking at many examples of publicly available art? Is the model your brain is producing “stealing” ?

I didn't say it was stealing. Imitation is a form of flattery. I'm just saying, we're just getting more and cheaper imitations. So many more, and so cheap, that they're turning into spam.
