It would be a risky bet. BTC should gain 50% of what XMR is currently doing. (I tried to do the same with LTC in the hope it would jump 20% but in the meantime XMR has gained 20% over this week, while LTC is the same.
It is very hard to time. Someone once said "Never try to catch a falling knife".
