Phoenix is the best self-custodial lightning wallet. So kudos. But for zaps you need your lightning node to be online all the time. The easiest way is to use a custodial service. You can set up a self hosted lightning node but that is hard mode. Custodial is ez mode.
Phoenix canβt receive zaps. Itβs great for storing sats on Lightning but youβll still want to have a wallet that provides a LNURL/Lightning Address.
#[5]β is the easiest all-in-one option.
I prefer #[6]β + #[7]β because it offers more functionality and it can even be used with your own node if you run one.
I like alby. It will also store your nsec (private nostr key) in the browser extension so you don't have to paste it into each nostr web client, which is very insecure.
