the guy i was referencing appeared again in the timeline from someone else…it can be quite upsetting sometimes (even tho it is so pervasive, common, deep, just everywhere) seeing such casual, overt misogyny.
like why don’t little people like this learn better? he could simply learn from the happily married men who are here who would never speak about their wives like this guy did about his probably non-existent wife.
ofc it’s fine to mentor younger non-married guys about finding a suitable match bc ideally ofc you want to be married forever. ofc, you should marry someone you would love to call your ride or die, someone you love watching raising, nurturing, teaching your kids, etc. etc. important, serious stuff. but this particular guy and other little shits have some weird fucked up ideas about superiority and domination. like, w. t. f.
