"Sanctity of humanity" is a human construct with no real meaning. You feel there is sanctity in that group because you are a part of it. But there is none. We are animals, 3 meals away from killing and eating each other, if that is what it takes to survive.
Arguably "human construct with no real meaning" is a human construct with no real meaning, by this logic. Are you so sure it's only ingroup bias?
