Humphrey Simwinga couldn't invest in U.S. markets as a Zambian. That frustration led him to Bitcoin and eventually to co-founding @npub1xxcy...tfly, a Bitcoin circular economy in Zambia. 118 merchants now accept bitcoin in Livingstone, over 200 students have graduated from the Bitcoin diploma programme, and Humphrey's own app (BitZed) is now live as a Fedi Mini App, which lets Zambians pay anyone over MoMo with sats. @Frank Corva tells the full story:
