there will be many options with different tradeoffs - some more convenient - some more secure
personally I think the above setup is more accessible than most people give themselves credit for and that most can figure it out - life is incredibly difficult and requires personal responsibility, most humans figure out a way to do much more complicated things than use a coldcard when necessary
We can do a lot to make running a node as simple as possible and without requiring any special hardware, and build wallets that promote good choices around key handling, we’ll get there as long as we don’t trade that over for convenience in the form of API’s 🫡
True, what I see today is that people are afraid of innovation but when they hear good explanation of what that represents I see how their mind is changening. I think that preaching to ordenary people is more important that any bitcoin convention out here.
i think in the future bitcoin education will become more and more important
