Few things you should know:
1. get a check mark in #Nostr, there are few options, I suggest nostrcheck.me, once you get it, edit your profile and update your Nostr-Address, not having it will hide you in some clients
2. follow hashtags, a good way to find like minded people
3. think of your nsec as your Bitcoin private keys, act accordingly
4. chose a client that respect your privacy, meaning, you can sign in with a Signer protecting your nsec, it has TOR built in and above all, you can manage the relays you use. I suggest @Amethyst t
5. add your lighting address in the profile so you can get zap, few options out there, I suggest @Mysterious Hamster for most people

Follow topics using hastags, a good way to find your tribe
##### Nostr Clients: #####
for Android:
@Amethyst is an excellent choice, feature rich, supports privacy, tiktok like feeds, excellent look and feel, it is ahead of most clients by far.
For Android and iOS:
@0xchat is a good alternative, more like Telegram. The UI is complex, but you may like it!
For iOS only:
@Damus (users talk positive about this client, give it a try)
#### Wallets: ####
Depends on your technical level and tolerance to risk:
1. The one who doesn't care to use custodial wallets (your money...):
Go for Wallet of Satoshi (https://www.walletofsatoshi.com/), add it to your profile, it doesn't have the NWC (network wallet connect), but you really don't need it. When you try to zap someone, the wallet will open in mobile clients and the invoice will load, easy and setup free. You are set. (they don't work in USA, unless you use a VPN)
2. The impatient with no time but looking to have a non custodial option plug and play.
The most complete web based non custodial wallet is definitely @Mysterious Hamster, https://coinos.io, rich with features, you can receive emails every time you are zapped as well!. Very cool wallet, the dev team rocks, they are doing the good work creating more Bitcoin awareness and helping businesses to accept it.
3. The curious one with not much technical expertise but eager to learn:
@Minibits (mobile app, you can buy from them your own address like yourname@minibits.cash BOLT11), the app is well polished, user friendly and the devs are hands on, responsive and active in the Nostr community.
4. The tech savvy
4.1. GetAlby running AlbyHub (a bit pricey unless you do all yourself, not my cup of tea, but people in the community loves them)
4.2. npub.cash - get your npub followed by @npub.cash and use it as your wallet address to receive anonymous private LN payments and Cashu payments. You can pay in the wallet web site for a custom address as well (cool)
