True. I’ve been looking for alternatives to bandcamp for years, which charges less than 10% I believe. I would consider paying this fee to wavlake despite not knowing who’s behind it because they’re 1) building on #nostr and 2) growing the #bitcoin economy—with bandcamp I’m feeding the PayPal mafia and other fiends. Still, would be amazing if wavlake would consider lowering to a more standard fee as many creator apps charge around 5%

You can host it yourself and keep 100% and it will show up on lnbeats.com. Check out @npub19ha7...q0fa and @marykateultra homegrown hits podcast they talk about this. @boo-bury also helps bands set this up for less than 10% iirc.

I get that. Say hi to @means to help answer #1. For #2 I get that. You don't have to use Wavlake to publish your media. You can publish it directly to Nostr and people can zap you and you'd get 100% of those sats.
