Suffering was introduced to humanity through Adam's choice to sin, and it was wiped away through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection and ascension. He paid the ultimate price for God's will on Earth, zero suffering and pain, to be done. Pain and suffering continue on Earth only to the extent that humans allow it to continue. The key to intimacy with God and personal growth isn't pain and suffering, which requires the violation of God's will to continue existing. The key to intimacy with God and personal growth is keeping no secrets from Him, and listening to Him disclose His secrets, and it helps to keep a journal of these interactions. This is because truth is nothing hidden, and God's will is nothing hidden, and God values most highly interpersonal relationships and partnership with and between people since God walked with Adam in the beginning, Jesus reconciled humanity to the God, and at the end so to speak, Father moves to Earth to be with humanity. You are greatly mistaken.

We all suffer until the second coming and the new earth. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
