It won't.. there might be a local cache to keep you happy and see the little zap icon, but nobody else will see it.

Yeah that might be good to have, just as a reminder you zapped it.
What if we had a count of the number of zaps, not the amount? Hide the amount, but show a zap happened? Partially privacy respecting.
