Question regarding #Cashu #Ecash :
Isnt there a big risk of getting rug pulled / scammed, as the mint would theoretically be able to give out many Bitcoin IOUs without ever having the Bitcoin in reality? While when you use Lightning via e.g. LNDHub you would at least see in the lightning network, that the lightning custodial wallet provider actually has no #Bitcoin.

Yes
No, don't worry, just send your sats to a random mint, it will be fine.
In fact, send them to figomint! DM for details.
(satire if unclear :p)
Tired of Bitcoin's bait & switch?
Try #Monero & #BCH
Value of #BCH is 0. Sorry for the hard truth.
Just like Bitcoin, the value of 1 BCH is 1 BCH.
With only one difference:

I didn't say 1 BCH = 1 BTC.
And it's not like anyone prices anything in BTC (or BCH) without using USD exchange rate.
The truth? BTC = Tether-created USDT used to purchase BTC, used to back said Tether.
