Looking to acquire one of these bad boys. 1950s Primus no. 71. Gasoline, single burner. Say what you want.. but newer tech isn’t always better. I have an MSR pocket rocket in my day bag.. hoping this will replace it. Isobutane is convenient but damn the cells are expensive. image

How does it work ? I mean I’ve see kerosene burners where you have to create pressure with a pump, is it the same ?
That’s a brilliant option for sure. Burns damn near anything. Loses on the vintage aesthetics though.
