🍊 orange update 🍊 After many attempts to get the table top engraved properly it was finally done. Mistakes happen, keep calm and carry on. We got there in the end and it looks great so far! Now I have some more issues to deal with, namely wood warping. When you join boards of wood together they will move around depending on the humidity and temperature of the environment. Normally people would install these metal beams called c-channels which stop the wood from bending around. However, I can't do that because of the engraving I did. If I put c-channels in, they would be visible on the top, not a good look! c-channels are totally out of the options to keep the table top straight. So instead I opted for thicker and wider straight flat steel bars to fit into the underside of the table. Normally even this would not keep the table top straight because the power of the wood to bend flat steel. However, the edges of the table will have heavy duty magnets which would help keep the table to straight by pulling the table down into the perfectly flat base. 🤞 I seriously hope this works! 🤞 #DIY #Bitcoin #Mining #BTC #Wood #Woodworking #Hardwood #Art #Design
