It was no name podcasters versus a huge mainstream print and video media going after bitcoin every chance they get.
I was always skeptical bitcoin ownership wouldn’t concentrate in the hands of the rich first— they can weather economic downturns and take way more risk regardless of how many plebs learned about bitcoin.
What matters is that fiat rich people’s bitcoin bags will eventually deplete unless they become productive members of society. Then it’s finally an even playing field— but that’s always been a 1-3 generation process in my mind.
