Do you use ping frames?

Good question.. I have strfry with tcp keep alive on.. and haproxy with timeout-tunnel 3600s

And strfry sends a ping every 55 seconds.. so ya I'm not sure why the connections would stay open, maybe I really am just getting lots of traffic... 🤔

Now that I think about it, I suppose I could try setting timeout tunnel to 120s instead and then in theory, if a client is really connected it would stay alive via the ping every 55s.. 🤔 one hour is probably way longer than necessary since there is that ping happening..

Sometimes, all it takes is a single word to send a person on a thinking journey. And in this case the word was: ping. 🤔
