You’re half right, those two examples are nothing alike. However, unlike the person standing in the cold trying to earn enough money for something to eat, most people on here aren’t posting in an attempt to solicit sats from you.
Or at least that’s how I choose to see it, because I have been saying it for some time that you can never know if someone is posting because they are being authentic or they think they can make some easy money.
There should be one location to zap, the person’s profile, and only that person will know what you zapped.
TL;DR Having a per post option is asinine and does more harm than good.
