🍊 orange update 🍊 Did another test run with the epoxy on some scrap wood and boy is it tricky. The epoxy still somehow manages to leak out from the side 🤦 even though I clamp the gaps down with another material. Will try something like hot glue to get it fully sealed off, but I hope that does not ruin the wood. Also, I tried to do the multi colour approach like you see in the YouTube videos and I Fvked that up. I filled the gap in the wood with black epoxy, then tried to add in the orange epoxy in the middle thinking I would see a nice separation of the colours... but the orange just disappeared into the black... 🤦 Then I just put some orange liquid dye into the black, that worked a little, but it still looks 5h1t. Epoxy to one side... The table top piece that I am getting joined and engraved into was not done right so that's going to be delayed. Around 1 month of delays. 🤦 To top it off, I have a really bad headache. 😅 Hoping that I can get more positive results by next week after some more work is done. Too be continued...
