It's funny, because the rate of attacks hasn't gone down, but we all somehow got bored of the subject. In fact, it's still rapidly rising. We're now at nearly twice the number of sexual assaults as before Merkel opened the gates. 2024 was a new record, but we German women have sort of mentally adjusted to the new normal. Same with femicide. Women die and get raped, or both, all the time, now, but we're all numb.
