AI is going to disrupt so fast, and governments are not equipped to react in time to try even out the major economic, employment and social disparities baked into the paradigm shift pie.
Nothing new. A whole generation of bright young things passed through the Spanish higher education system and were released into the work world from the early 2000s onwards, well educated and willing, only to find that the government's investment department didn't get the memo about laying the groundwork for their employment opportunities on graduation.
Germany and the UK say thanks! They recouped their investment in the education part of the EU budget and then some. Not being disparaging, but it could be argued that Spain boasts some of the best educated bar staff in Europe. Such a waste of priceless resources.
