Face it, don’t avoid it....
Pain as signal implies feedback loops, similar to those in reinforcement learning algorithms, where agents learn from environmental responses to optimize behavior.
And it’s funny. When I look back on the men that have had the greatest impact on my life, they were the ones who, at the time, I hated for the struggles and challenges they pushed me to figure out on my own.
