A director I worked with last year clued me into this Steven Soderbergh blog post about Raiders of the Lost Ark. My respect for Spielberg's visual storytelling tripled after viewing it.
Soderbergh converted the movie to black and white and set it to a Trent Reznor soundtrack and... it's incredible.
For any film nerds, it's a masterclass in shot blocking.
