The regulations in Melbourne are insane.
Don't even think about getting an illegal inflatable pool this summer. The fines for having an unregistered pool are $1,600 and if you didn't build a fence around it then the fines can be over $20,000.

Melbourne - keeping you safe by stealing all your money so you can’t afford to do anything which could possibly pose a danger to someone, somewhere, sometime.
I am just waiting for the day they put a pool fence down the side of the ocean at the beach.
