How did you find this and isn't it twisted so they can issue a law to make CBDC's?
The FED is not part of the federal gov, tho.

It literally makes the entire prohibition meaningless. Like whatever “emergency” makes them decide they need a CBDC will justify “required by law.”
Yeah, but that depends on the action of the state branch doing so and the interpretation of the agents who are enforcing it. The government is so fucked up, we need way more than just consensus on CBDC prohibition. We need to rewrite the entire constitution and the public's minds with a philosophy that encourages decentralization and scrutiny.

The President can’t stop Congress from passing a bill but he can always veto it.
Presidential orders can’t nullify existing law.
I think it’s just because the President can’t order something contrary to existing laws.
