You do the bast you can for you animals! If it doesn't bother you, did you truly care for them?

I agree completely. All ours have names and get treated with care and compassion their whole life. We make an effort to create a space where each can fully express their instinct and be safe. I'm sure the next generation of chickens will bring you as much joy.
