On iPhone loading the app from DuckDuckGo browser is buggy and does not work well. If you are on iPhone you can just add the app via safari and then use it from the home screen. That is what I have been doing. Unfortunately I do not think Firefox support progressive web apps. You can still use nowhere and create sites without the app but you will just need an internet connection to do so.
